Hispanic Heritage Celebration and Fundraising Event 2024
On September 15, we had the incredible opportunity to host our first fundraiser in Durham, and it was an inspiring day that showcased the power of community, culture, and generosity. Eddie Zuñiga and Orlando Aguilar, owners of H2O Hair Salon And Spa, who so kindly offered their space for our event. Their generosity provided the perfect setting, and their support was instrumental in making this event possible.
We want to extend a special thanks to our local businesses for their sponsorship, and the volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring every detail was handled with care. Your dedication, energy, and willingness to help were the backbone of our event. From setting up, managing activities, to engaging with participants, they made everything run smoothly, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
This event was just the beginning, and it was a beautiful reminder of the impact we can make when we come together as a community. With your continued support, we are excited to keep pushing forward towards our goal of providing educational opportunities to children in Latin America.
